Tour Details
A friendly nudge, a dolphin kiss, the rush of a belly ride across the water. Meet the dolphins up close at the Dolphin Explorer beach park in Cabeza de Toro, in Punta Cana, right on the beach next to Catalonia. Choose your program. Dolphin Encounter Funtastic is 40 minutes in the water with a handshake and a kiss, no swimming needed, perfect for young kids. Dolphin Swim Explorer is our main program: 50 minutes swimming with a dolphin, with hugs, kisses, a belly ride and a dolphin jump, plus the bird show, a sea lion kiss and the aviary. Royal Dolphin Swim Excellence gives you 60 minutes with 2 dolphins and trainer coaching. Prices are per person, the same for adults and kids: Funtastic $120, Explorer $120, Royal Excellence $199.
Not swimming? Join as an observer for $35 (kids $25). You'll still enjoy the sea lion show and birds. The Observer / Companion ticket is not a swim program: observers don't go in the water with the dolphins. Shows at 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:45 PM daily, with round-trip hotel transport timed to your show. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
Honest note: This is one of our high-demand excursions, so on busy days your transport can run 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule because of island traffic and full pickup routes. It doesn't happen every time, but it does happen, and we'd rather tell you now than surprise you. We choose our operators carefully, so when it happens it's a short wait, not a missed tour.

Pickup Times & Zones
Shows at 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:45 PM daily. At checkout you pick your show time and hotel, and we show your pickup time for that zone. Round-trip transport from most Bávaro / Punta Cana hotels. Some remote areas may cost extra. Be in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before pickup.

Which programs actually swim?
Explorer and Royal Excellence (swimmers only, kids at least 1 m tall). Funtastic needs no swimming.
Some of us don't swim. Can they come?
Yes. Book Funtastic, which needs no swimming, or join as an observer for $35 (kids $25). Observers watch and enjoy the sea lion show and birds, but don't swim with the dolphins.
How much does it cost?
Per person, the same for adults and kids: Funtastic $120, Explorer $120, Royal Excellence $199. Observers who don't swim: $35 adults, $25 kids.
Can I bring my camera?
Not in the water. The park sells photos.
Can pregnant guests join?
Not on Explorer or Royal Excellence.
