Tour Details
Bávaro Runners is Ohana Tours' own full-day safari truck tour: cigars rolled by hand, a working sugar cane plantation, a Dominican family's coffee and cacao farm, and Macao Beach, all with Ohana's own safari trucks and guides.
Ride the route to Higüey and stop at a sugar cane plantation to see cane cut and turned into rum, then watch a master roll cigars by hand. Along the road you'll pass schools and local colmados (corner stores).
Visit a Dominican family at their home and farm, where they grow coffee and cacao, and taste both along with fresh cacao and tropical fruit. Lunch is served at the ranch.
Finish at Macao Beach for a swim, a boogie board or a Cuba Libre in the sand.
About 8 hours with round-trip transport in Ohana's own safari trucks. Adults $90, kids 3–12 $45, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
